I am so excited to head to the Jersey Shore and run along the famed Boardwalk. Over the past 3 years of running half marathons I’ve realized that I’ve made it my unofficial goal to run something in (at least) every East Coast state so I’m excited to check New Jersey off the list. I lived in New Jersey for 7 months during 2012/2013, but never made it down to the Shore. There’s so much I’m missing! Maybe I’ll fist pump through the race?! Is that still a thing? I sure do hope so. With a race finally on the schedule for 2018 that means training officially starts on December 25, 2017. Merry Christmas to me! I’ve decided to switch it up this year and try Hanson’s beginner Half Mara

The holidays are supposed to be full of laughter and cheer and I would say 99% of the time they are. But what about when they’re not? The holiday season can be SO stressful! From finding the absolute perfect gift for everyone, to worrying about money, to decorating and wrapping all of the presents, life can get pretty stressful in December. I’ve always turned to music to help me de-stress or podcasts to help me focus and put me in the right frame of mind to accomplish all of the things on my very long to-do list. When I’m home alone I regularly crank up the tunes and bust out my best Queen B impression (I’m basically as good as she is. I swear it.) As soon as my husband comes home though, it’s a whole d

"Disclaimer: I received Luvo Frozen Meals to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro(ambassador ), and check out BibRave.com to review find and write race reviews!" I love to eat anything and everything. What I don’t always love to do is cook, especially on busy nights after work and a long run. Especially when it comes to making healthy food to give me all of the nourishment I know I need. Frozen meals have always been a staple in my diet, but up until now I always thought frozen meals were an unhealthy, albeit quick alternative to a home cooked meal. When I found out about Luvo Frozen Meals I was so excited to try out a healthy alternative to my normal frozen dinners! I had a hard time finding Luvo Frozen Meals in my local grocery store, but lucky for me Luvo just opened up their own online store to make ordering fast and easy for everyone! Check out their online store here. The online store’s interface was

How about a lovely place to take a racecation? Look no further than the Palm Desert Half Marathon ! Here are the top reasons to run the Palm Desert Half in 2018: The Weather: I have lived in a place where February means cold weather my ENTIRE life. I bust out my sweaters, long johns, and brushed running gear in November and usually don’t put it away until April. It’s hard for me to imagine a place where the average temperate in February is above 40 degrees. Ahhh, but a place like that does exist believe it or not! (I know, I had a difficult time believing it myself!) Enter- Palm Desert, CA. With 350 days of sunshine a year and an average “winter” high of 70 degrees, you might just wan
