I’m IN to run the 2018 Rhode Races Newport Half Marathon! I am so excited to add another race to my 2018 calendar. So what if it’s 2 weeks before my spring goal race in New Jersey? My training plan actually calls for me to run 13 miles that weekend (technically on Sunday, but whatever!) so once again I thought, why not earn some bling? The Rhode Races Newport Half Marathon will be a good way for me to work out some kinks in my training and fueling strategies so nothing surprises me on race day and the end of April.

Not to mention, I absolutely LOVE Newport. I love it so much that I drive down from Cape Cod at least twice a year to get my haircut there. And sometimes I just drive down to head over to the huge historical mansions and imagine what it would…

Alright, truth time. I sweat. A lot. Like, so much that my husband won’t give me a hug or generally come near me after I workout. Since I started running I’ve been trying to find a detergent that can handle my stinky workout clothes.

Sweat X doesn’t just mask the stinky scent, it eliminates it entirely.

According to Sweat X Sport’s website, “Sweat X deploys NANOVASIVE™ technology that exfoliates stains and infested sweat known to cause odor in uniforms and activewear.” Sweat X is safe to use in HE wa…

We all know I live in the land of snow over here in MA. The thought of going on a lovely runcation is at the forefront of my mind November through March. If you’re anything like me you want to escape the harsh winter snow and head somewhere sunny and warm (unless of course this is already the climate you live in year round...lucky).
Lucky for you Palm Desert, CA offers the perfect February half marathon and excellent spot for your next runcation! Not only does it get 300 days of sunshine a year, but the average temperature in February is 74 degrees. Say what?! Sign me up!
So you signed up, “now what?” you might ask. Well, with ta little more than 30 days until race day it’s time to start looking at all of the fun to be had in Palm Desert!
